One Friday evening in early July, Barry and I paddled on the Neponset River into Boston Harbor. The
conditions were nice when we started, but thunderstorms were approaching from the northeast. As we
made it to Squantum Harbor, we could see the storm clouds fast approaching with heavy lightening.
We paddled back quickly, just missing the storm, and were treated to some of the most spectacular cloud formations and rainbows that we’ve encountered on the water.
