This is one of our favorite areas. It is located off the southeast corner of Rhode Island where Narragansett
Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. The conditions here can be quite rough depending on the prevailing winds
and the time of day. Paddling around the point and heading east to Massachusetts takes you along
several secluded beaches and numerous rocky islands. The lighthouse at Sakonnet Point is one of the
nicest in the area.
