I had the opportunity to take a trip to San Francisco in early November. Fortunately the weather is a
bit more temperate than on the east coast where the kayaking season is mostly over. Just north of
the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, I found an excellent rental operation, Sea Trek Kayaks. I paddled
around Richardson Bay along Sausalito and Belvedere and south almost to the Golden Gate Bridge.
The current gets quite strong in the main part of the bay, but it is a great way to see the city.
